Description
This Workshop aims to build capacity on implementation and related matters under the revised WTO Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) among participants from a selected group of countries, namely: (i) Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus (CEECAC) countries; (ii) other WTO members or observers that have recently acceded to or are actively pursuing their accession to the GPA; and (iii) other members undertaking domestic reforms relevant to the Agreement. It further aims to provide practical exposure to the work of the WTO Committee on Government Procurement regarding accessions, implementation and other related matters, and to facilitate policy dialogue on government procurement issues across the CEECAC region and among the other participating members.
