Description
The mission's main objective of this mission is to launch the WTO Chair in South Africa for Phase II, which was attributed to the University of Potchefstroom after a competitive process. The activity will include 2 speeches to be delivered by DDG Shark and Maarten Smeets, meetings with the Dean, Rector, Vice Rector, Chair holder, the WCP team at the University, researchers and professors, as well as with senior government officials, including perhaps the Minister of Trade. It also includes lecturing for master and PHD students. Meetings will be held as well at the technical level on the research projects envisaged. Also meetings with the press will be held.
