Description

This course is being organized by UNCTAD as part a project to build the capacity of least developed countries' delegations on preferential rules or origin. The WTO has been assisting the UNCTAD and the LDCs in this respect and will therefore contribute to the training with a series of presentations particularly on the Nairobi Decision and its implementation in the Committee on Rules of Origin.

The objective of the course is to build the capacity of LDC delegations on matters relating to preferential market access and preferential rules of origin. In particular, the training should strengthen the capacity of LDC delegations for a smooth and effective implementation of the WTO Ministerial Decision on preferential rules of origin.
