Description
The aim of the workshop is to deepen knowledge and understanding of the key and emerging issues in International Investment Agreements (IIA), giving special attention to issues in IIA negotiations and implications for investor-State dispute settlement. The course will explain the key issues, provide a stocktaking of treaty provisions, analyze the different approaches and the recent treaty practice, discuss approaches to negotiations, identify options for negotiators, present cases of jurisprudence, and study interactions between issues and concepts.
