Description
Workshop on TRIPS with a focus on needs assessment EAC Countries - English - Specialist - Level 2 - The Workshop objective is to enhance coordination and to align available resources with the needs identified or to be identified by LDCs. LDCs and potential donors as well as regional and international organization will share their respective experiences in the needs assessment process. Because coordination is the overarching rationale of the Workshop, a particular feature will be a series of bilateral meetings between LDCs and potential partners. Their purpose is to identify practical avenues of co-operation in order to facilitate and to complete the needs assessment process. By the end of the Workshop the participants will have an improved understanding of the WTO needs assessment process, as well as of the mechanisms and partners available to assist them in undertaking or implementing their individual needs assessment.
