WTO Regional Workshop on Trade-Related Intellectual Property Rights
Description
Workshop on TRIPS and public health for African Countries - English - Specialist - Level 2 - Postponed from 2012 - The Workshop will address a number of important public policy issues at the interface between intellectual property and public health, which are directly relevant to the work in the WTO and other fora. Comprehensive and up-to-date information will be provided, as well as an opportunity for an exchange of views among countries of the region. The purpose is to contribute to awareness raising and to facilitate relevant considerations and decision-making processes at domestic level, as well as to enhance the effective participation of participants in the policy areas under consideration in various international fora, including the WTO.
