WTO/IADB Regional Workshop on Trade and Environment for Latin America - English
Description
The Workshop will cover economic, legal, and policy-related issues at the intersection between trade and the environment. Its overall purpose is to help participants understand the need to promote the coherence and mutual supportiveness between trade and environmental policies at the national and international levels. The Regional Workshop programme (draft attached) will include lectures, practical exercises and roundtables with panellists drawn from the participants. Additionally, there will be contributions from IADB and IICA and other relevant international organizations. Participants will contribute directly to the programme by sharing experiences and best practice on particular issues. A field trip is planned for the last day of the workshop.
