WTO-UNESCAP Regional Seminar on Trade and Environment
Description
WTO/ESCAP regional seminar on Trade and Environment, including a Focus on Specific Topics (e.g. Multilateral Environmental Agreements, Climate Change and Green Economy) for Asia and Pacific Economies - English - Specialist - Level 2 - The programme of the Workshop is designed to assist participating countries from the Region to consolidate knowledge of the trade and environment nexus in the WTO context. An introduction to trade and environment discussions and DDA negotiations at the WTO, including in relevant WTO bodies, such as CTE, CTESS and TBTC, will be provided. Finally, the impact of environmental requirements on market access and the trade and climate change relationship will be considered.
