Description
This is a follow-up workshop for the Trade Policies Review (TPR) of El Salvador, which will be held in  September 2016. During this review, WTO Members will identifies some areas where improvement can be made, such as notification obligations and the implementation of WTO agreements, and other areas in which the updating and review of legislation would contribute to enhance welfare. The workshop will be  conducted in the format of trade policies seminars, with an objective of dissemination of results from the Trade Policies Review of El Salvador to relevant stakeholders including governmental agencies, the private sectors, civil societies, and academia. The Workshop is intended to be instrumental in facilitating the  El Salvador's reform agenda in the areas identified in the TPR by making the results of the TPR more widely available and identifying more clearly specific steps that need to be taken.
