The objectives of the mission  are (i)  to assist the Government of Sudan in the preparation of its accession documentation. Technical Working Sessions on the substantive sections of the accession documentation will be held on 4^th - 8^th April with the Sudanese technical team. In parallel, the Chairperson of the Working Party on the Accession of Sudan will join the Secretariat Team for his official visit to the Capital on 9^th – 11^th April.   The programme of the official visit includes high-level engagement with the Vice-President and senior officials of the Government of Sudan and the private sector.

(ii) to allow the Secretariat to interact directly with experts from the relevant Ministries and agencies while working towards assisting in the preparation of the updated documentation. The government officials will also have an opportunity to finalize their responses to the written questions raised by WTO Members.
