ACCESS II - Export training course for African women in international trade
|
Description
The ACCESS! programme is a gender-focused, regional trade support programme aimed at improving the trade support services for African businesswomen in international trade, with a view to promoting their economic empowerment.
Building upon the success of the first ACCESS! programme, and with a view to improve both the capabilities of the local partner organisations and the potential for export impact, phase II of the ACCESS! programme requires the export training course structure to be updated, with existing training materials upgraded, and new topical and sector-specific training materials developed.
The Export Training course will then be transferred to national ACCESS! Focal Point institutions and national ACCESS! Trainers during regional TOTs for ECOWAS, ECCAS, and COMESA.
This update and upgrade is led by EC for the benefit of OA, PACT II programme, and ACCESS! Coordination. It will ultimately benefit ACCESS! Focal Point (AFP) institutions as well as ACCESS! participating women entrepreneurs in 19 ACCESS! countries.
