To ensure that the relevant agencies in the Philippines have the appropriate understanding on the TBT Agreement and its obligations as a preparation to the effective functioning of the revitalized National Coordinating Committee on the Implementation of TBT Agreement.

·    Provide training through a workshop in understanding key principles of the WTO TBT Agreement.

·    Enhance the participants' knowledge of the work of the TBT Committee, including on good regulatory practices, among others.

·    Develop the participants' understanding of the transparency provisions of the TBT Agreement and the inter-linkages of the TBT Agreement to other WTO Agreements.
