Workshop for ASEAN-plus Members of Parliament - Level 1- Generalist - English - Against this background, the regional workshop will focus on four general areas: (i) introduction to the multilateral trading system; how the WTO works and a discussion on selected WTO Agreements and processes; (ii) the DDA and process to concluding the Round, including on Trade Facilitation; (iii) development issues and issues of particular relevance to the region; and (iv) the looking into some important issues to the WTO such as "Made in the World" as well as Innovation and its impact on the changing the face of world trade.
