Standards and trade development facility, Nigeria - SPS capacity building for sesame seeds and sheanut butter exports

Description
The objective is to provide effective and efficient supervision and oversight services related to the implementation of STDF project 172 entitled “Expanding Nigeria's exports of sesame seeds and sheanut butter through improved SPS Capacity Building for the private and public sector” by the beneficiary, i.e. the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC). NEPC is the implementing agency.
The project aims at addressing some urgent needs related to quality control in the supply chain of the sesame seeds and shea nut butter sectors in Nigeria to the levels that meet the SPS measures in importing markets, especially in the EU.
