Description
Mauritius, like all Members, has to make notifications under the various WTO Agreements. A number of the notification obligations require background technical knowledge of the respective provisions of the Agreements under which the notifications are to be made. Given that these various Agreements are multi-disciplinary in nature, and not necessarily falling under the jurisdiction of the International Trade Division, training and capacity-building is required in this area in the International Trade Division and across the various Government departments. The international Trade Division expects to continue to play the coordinating role with the different government departments.
