Workshop on Market Access Issues (Tariffs, the WTO Tariff Databases, WTO Schedules of Concessions as well as the Agreements on Customs Valuation, Rules of Origin and Import Licensing Procedures) for Asian Countries - English - The workshop focuses on market access related issues, including NAMA. Its covers background to market access issues: tariffs and tariff negotiations, modalities of the NAMA negotiations, current state-of-play of the NAMA negotiations, customs valuation, rules of origin, import licensing, WTO tariff and import databases (such as IDB and CTS). It also includes some exercises including the scheduling for acceding Members.
