The Workshop aims:  (i) to familiarize participants with the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA), notably as it relates to trade, governance and to related initiatives in the region; (ii) to elaborate on the benefits, challenges and modalities of accession to the GPA; and (iii) to consider recent developments regarding government procurement at the national, regional and international levels, including in relation to e-procurement. This Workshop is organized in co-operation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The Workshop will be held in English, with interpretation into Russian provided by courtesy of the EBRD.
