Description
The objective of the workshop is to facilitate de cooperation between standards bodies and regulators by addressing issues of good regulatory practices and good practices in standards development and the use of international standards as a basis for regulations and conformity assessment schemes. A key component in the workshop are non-tariff measures and the avoidance of trade impeding effects caused by technical regulations that are insufficiently planned and coordinated both domestically as well as regionally and internationally
