Trade facilitation - Facilitating women informal cross border trade in Uganda
Description
To enhance the capacity of Ugandan Women Informal Cross Border Traders (ICBTs) to increase their exports to neighbouring countries by reducing and eliminating trade facilitation impediments at points of entry and exit. Expected outcomes include a simpler, speedy, transparent and more predictable ICBT trade facilitation environment, harmonized ICBT procedures and processes, reduction in the time taken by women ICBTs at points of entry and exit and improved competency of ICBTs to better exploit export opportunities
