Description
The Uruguayan trade support system relies on various trade support institutions (TSI), which all work towards a common goal. Country representatives have expressed their concern over a lack of coordination, resulting in duplication of work, lack of systematic processes for information exchange, and weak dissemination performance with target users. It is thought that a well-designed information platform will provide full transparency regarding trade intelligence services available in the country, and become the major portal for organizing and accessing trade intelligence resources originating from both internal and external networks. The current project seeks to address a request sent by representatives from the Uruguayan Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations (MRREE), asking to provide support in the design and creation of such a platform within the Ministry, in partnership with all concerned national stakeholders.
