Description

This event aims at helping participants understand the role of the WTO in International Intellectual Property Governance.  The conference sessions will develop on several themes, namely (i) the WTO dispute settlement system and trade in services; (ii) the evolution of, and challenges posed by, trade remedy disputes at the WTO; (iii) addressing non-trade concerns at the WTO; (iv) the role of the WTO in international intellectual property governance; (v) the WTO dispute settlement system and other areas of global governance; and (vi) developing countries' participation in WTO dispute settlement.
