Description
At the end of the activity, participants are expected to: • Understand the main provisions of the SPS Agreement and Guinea's obligations in this regard. • have a better understanding of the relevance and importance of the SPS Agreement and the SPS Committee to resolve trade problems encountered by Guinea; • have a better understanding of the SPS transparency provisions and procedures and to have strengthened their capacity to research and use SPS-related information; At the end of the activity: • The capacity of managers and technicians to relate to the SPS Agreement provisions in their control and inspection activities of fresh fruits and vegetables will be strengthened; • The knowledge about international standards by officials at the different checkpoints responsible for facilitating administrative procedures for export will be strengthened.
