Regional Workshop on Services Trade & Regulation for the Pacific Region.
WTO Members (6): Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu
Non-WTO Members (8): Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Republic of Marshall Islands, Tuvalu
· The workshop will focus on the relationship between services trade liberalization and regulation services sectors. It will review proposals for disciplines on domestic regulation made in the WTO, and in regional contexts, against the backdrop of regulatory regimes in the participating countries.
