Ethiopia: Fostering business support to the WTO accession process
Description
Government enjoys stakeholder confidence, especially amongst private sector, in their bid to WTO membership, through: 1. Private sector understands the business implications of WTO membership – its opportunities, benefits and challenges. 2. Private sector associations are enabled to canvass support for and to articulate their business interests within the remit of WTO acquis. 3. Government is able to integrate business priorities in their negotiating positions and policy / regulatory reforms. 4. Institutionalization of the public private interaction on WTO accession and trade policy.
