Description
The regional workshop is to facilitate the more effective participation for Arab and Middle East Countires in the work of the WTO. By the end of the workshop, participants will have: i) a better understanding of the current provisions of the Agreement on Agriculture, as well as its implementation of commitments; ii) will be able to outline the process, as well as the requirements and formats, for notifications to the Committee on Agriculture; and iii) will be able to discuss the outcome in agriculture of the Bali Ministerial Conference, and key issues in the Doha Round agriculture negotiations.
