This programme, which was designed in collaboration with the Government of Afghanistan and the US Department of Commerce, aims to continue the excellent work that Afghanistan has done to date since joining the WTO and focuses on practical issues relating to Afghanistan's day-to-day interaction with the work of the WTO, including sharing of best practices by the Coordinator of the LDC Consultative Group. It will also expose senior officials to the important work carried out by partner institutions such as ACWL and ITC and forge a network of contacts among officials and WTO staff members designated to deliver the various modules. A key output of this programme will be to produce a clear plan for the training and technical assistance needs and priorities of Afghanistan over the coming years.
