WTO Participation in an African Development Bank/World Bank - High Level Procurement Forum: “Harnessing Public Procurement for Socio-Economic Growth in Africa" - Forum africain de haut niveau sur les marchés publics - Foro africano de alto nivel sobre contratación pública

The Secretariat has been invited as a panellist on Sub-theme 2:  “How can public procurement contribute to realizing socio-economic aspirations?”  The WTO  input, while focusing on this sub-theme, will be to provide pertinent information on WTO disciplines on government procurement as elaborated in the GPA, and highlight their relevance and significance for good governance, development and trade, and related policy initiatives under discussion in Africa.
