|
Description
The Fourth China Round Table (CRT-04) is a high-level conference focusing on WTO Accessions and the Multilateral Trading System.
Building on the successes of three previous Round Tables held in Asia, CRT-04 will focus on the theme "Domestic Reforms for Competitiveness and Deeper Trade Integration in the Global Economy". In particular, the objective of CRT-04 is to use the opportunity provided by the first WTO Ministerial Conference in Africa to deepen the on-going dialogue that relates the results from 34 completed WTO Accessions to the core objectives of domestic reforms, systemic updates of the rules of the Multilateral Trading System, market opening and competitive integration into the global economy and value chains.
