Description
The aim of the workshop is to strengthen the capacity of countries member of the Islamic Development Bank in managing investor-State disputes and to raise awareness about key issues in international investment agreements and their development dimension. The workshop will provide stocktaking of treaty provisions, analyze the different approaches and the recent treaty practice, discuss approaches to negotiations, identify options for negotiators, present cases of jurisprudence, and study interactions between issues and concepts related to international investment agreements and investor-State disputes.
