Description
The workshop will provide an overview of the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT Agreement). We will explain the background, purpose and scope of the TBT Agreement, and we will highlight and clarify the main principles and disciplines of the TBT Agreement, in the light of recent TBT case law. The workshop will update participants on the work and current discussions in the TBT Committee, including in the areas of Good Regulatory Practice and transparency. Finally, it will provide a forum to share information and experiences on TBT issues. Participants are expected to contribute actively to the workshop.
