Description
This mission is in response to the specific request for
technical assistance by the Government of the Serbia. The objective of the
mission is to assist the Government of Serbia in the preparation of the documentary basis for the resumption
of the Working Party process in Serbia's accession in the second half of 2018. The
programme of the visit includes technical working sessions with Serbia's WTO
accession negotiating team and the representatives of line Ministries on the
preparation of the negotiating inputs. Meetings with the senior officials of
the Government of Serbia will also be organized.
By the end of the activity, the revised draft Report of the
Working Party on the Accession of Serbia, as well as other negotiating inputs, *
shall be produced and finalised. This documentation, once approved by the
Government of Serbia with domestic stakeholders, shall be submitted to the
Secretariat, for circulation to Members of the Working Party, whose meeting is preliminarily
envisaged for the second half of 2018.
