Workshop on Trade Remedies for Latin American Countries (Spanish) - Seminario para Países Latinoamericanos sobre Remedios Correctivos Comerciales (Español) - The seminar is aimed at capital-based officials whose responsibilities include work related to trade remedies but who have at most limited practical experience in applying those measure. The main thurst of the workshop is to enhance participants' understanding of the WTO rules and procedures that apply to trade remedies (in particular anti-dumping and safeguards) and to introduce how the concepts are applied in practice. The current state of the rules negotiations will be summarized.
