Project development: Economic empowerment of women in the Pacific Region (Women and Trade II)
Description
This is an inception phase for the AusAID funded project - Economic empowerment of women in the Pacific region. The planned result of this inception phase is an approved project document, within the framework of the Women and Trade Phase II Programme. The overall objective of the project to be developed is to deliver “increased income and exports for women entrepreneurs in the Pacific Region through trade”. The target sectors and countries of focus are as follows: Papua New Guinea - Bilum sector Vanuatu - Tourism Sector Samoa - Government procurement from Women Business Enterprises During the inception phase, a mission to the target countries will be undertaken to meet with stakeholders.
