Caribbean Region: Development of value added products and intra-regional trade to enhance livelihoods from coconuts

Description
Increase food availability and reinforce incomes of small scale farmers.
Small scale coconut producers’ competitiveness is enhanced through better regional integration and improved production performance.
The project is designed to address four key issues that are preventing the coconut sector from achieving its full potential:
1. Improve coordination and cooperation across the region and ACP coconut countries
2 .Increase production volume of the right quality of coconuts
3. Improve access of small producers to advisory services and finance
4. Improve risk planning and access to risk management tools for small producers
