To undertake notifications to WTO Agreements requires a good  knowledge of the respective provisions of the Agreements under which the notifications are to be made. Since these Agreements are administered across many government department, training and capacity-building is required in the  Ministry of Trade , but across the various Government departments.   

It is against this background that  Zambia requested a national notifications workshop to be conducted for various government departments that play a role in the country's implementation of any of the WTO Agreements
