|
|
Description
The multilateral trading system is in a period of transition. Shifting economic circumstances, major advances in technology and the emergence of new influential players on the global scene have necessitated the strengthening of the multilateral trading system so as to ensure that it fully meets the challenges of the 21st century. Within this context, governments are more aware than ever of the need to have a group of officials who understand the WTO system, and are sufficiently knowledgeable in working with the WTO Agreements.
