The purpose of the project is to increase participation of targeted women owned SMEs in export-oriented value chains by enhancing their competitiveness and their capacity to penetrate local, regional markets. This is expected to be achieved by: Enabling women-owned SMEs to offer goods and services that meet buyers’ requirements Linking women-owned SMEs with targeted buyers through business matchmaking meetings. Strengthening the capacity of the BWF to provide better trade support services to its constituencies.
