This workshop has been organized at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia. The workshop will aim to: (i) familiarize participants with the main provisions of the Agreement on Agriculture (AoA) and the Agreement on the Implementation of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS); (ii) cover in depth the transparency commitments arising from both Agreements; and (iii) familiarize participants with the work of the Committee on Agriculture and the SPS Committee and the tools available under these committees for the settlement of trade disputes. The workshop will combine presentations and practical exercises; and provide a platform to discuss specific technical issues faced in the preparation of agricultural notifications.
